How to request support

Our goal is to make the process of requesting support as straightforward as possible. Follow these steps to apply for assistance or funds from the North Texas Guard Association.

Step 1: complete the application form

Begin by filling out our online support request form. Please provide detailed information about your unit or individual needs, the type of assistance requested, and how the funds or resources will be utilized. Be as thorough as possible to help us understand your situation better.

Step 2: review and approval

Once we receive your application and all supporting documents, our team at the North Texas Guard Association will conduct a thorough review. We will assess the request based on our criteria and available resources. You will be contacted via email or phone regarding the status of your application within [10(TEN)] business days.

For individuals there is an additional step of all financial support being in the form of a progressive time loan commitment to the agency or Unit. There is no financial payments required if the individual stays as an active member of there unit for a pre-established time frame.

All individuals will know the requirements up front before accepting any funding.

Step 3: Complete Event or Training

The agreed amount of funds will be know upfront so the event can process or training course can be secured and completed. 

Once the events are completed or the training is completed you can request disbursements of funds.

Step 4: Receive Reimbursement

Once the event or training is completed, and invoices or receipts are submitted, the North Texas Guard Association will disburse the reimbursed funds or resources directly to your unit or to the individual. We are committed to a timely and efficient process to ensure you receive the support you need when you need it most. Thank you for your service!
